Wawa Rolling Out an Expanded Dinner Menu

If you are a Wawa lover, like most Philadelphia residents are, you will be happy to hear that they are expanding their menu.
Wawa has rolled out an expanded select dinner menu. Right now, it is only available in about six stores, including Horsham and Jenkintown, but they hope to make it available in all stores if it goes well. The new menu includes burgers, chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Yes, you read that right.
If you live near any of the locations, you can try these items. The meals are available on brioche buns. The burger toppings include cheddar cheese, bacon, pickles, lettuce, tomato and garlic aioli.
Prices may vary by store, but most sell the burger and chicken sandwich for $5.49 and the fries for $1.99.
While Wawa is trying to add more items to appeal to customers’ needs, they are also trying to compete with fast food restaurants. After Popeyes introduced their chicken sandwich, they saw a 42% sales growth.
Are you going to try the new menu items? What would you want them to add?
