There’s A New Mardi Gras Pop-Up Bar In Philly That You Need To Try

Get ready for the sights, sounds and tastes of New Orleans in a new experience unlike anything else in Philly! The city’s only Mardi Gras Pop-Up Bar, sponsored by Craftsman Row Saloon, debutes on Feb. 6 and will run until Fat Tuesday, March 1. Hours are Wednesday to Thursday, from noon to 9:00pm, Friday and Saturday, noon to 10:00pm, and Sunday noon to 9:00pm.
Guests will be transferred to Bourbon Street and The Big Easy when they arrive at 112 S. 8th Street, with Mardi Gras colored food (purple, green and gold) and decorations and accessories, such as masks, feathers, beads and more.
“The countdown to Fat Tuesday is on,” said owner Vasiliki Tsiouris in a press release. “We are thrilled to announce Philadelphia’s only immersive Mardi Gras Pop-Up Bar Experience. You can be the King of Bourbon Street with our over-the-top new milkshake with real King Cake, plus we have free beads for everyone that dines with us in February. The entire restaurant glitters from all the gold, green and purple – with beads, street signs, masks and more in every corner and from ceiling to floor.”

The menu will be filled with Craftman’s signature dishes as well as specials for the pop-up. Craftsman Row Saloon is owned by brother-and-sister restaurateurs George and Vasiliki Tsiouris, co-owners of Midtown Village’s popular Drury Beer Garden.
