A few months ago, when I was at my local Wawa, a worker came up to me and handed me two coupons – one for a free pasta bowl and one for a free burger.
On February 28th, I decided to try out their new burgers. Apparently, they were just a trial run in a few stores out in the suburbs, but now they are at most locations. But the kicker is you can only get it after 4pm.
The burger was bigger than I expected – more of an angus burger, according to their menu. It was served on a brioche bun and comes with a side of fries. You can get many toppings on the burger, including lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, onions, and more and it doesn’t cost a thing. The only topping that costs extra is bacon. It was delicious, aside from the fact that I just brought it home and had to heat it up again.
Then with the fries you can get ketchup for free or a cup of cheese sauce for $0.75. The fries are seasoned and the perfect addition to the burger. The only complaint I have is that you get a very little number of fries.
For $5.99, you can get the combo and enjoy a good meal. For that price though, Wawa should throw in a fountain drink.
But, if you are ever craving a burger, Wawa is definitely a place you should check out. They were good.
I can’t wait to try their pasta bowls!
