This single comes after her release of the “Say Something” music video in November, another song she covered while she was on “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.” Her last original single, “Plastic Lovers,” was released in August of last year.
“Fast Car” is a glimpse of what is to come for the rest of the year. She’s changing musical directions and is showcasing more vocally empowering songs for her fans. Ryan is planning on shaking up the music scene with popular sounding music while incorporating singer/songwriter styled music. Ryan’s vocals are already out of this world, so we are sure to be in for a treat.
About the song, Ryan states, “I’ve sung this song so many times in my life. I thought it would be a great idea to create my own arrangement for it and record it professionally for everyone to hear. I was sitting in the car a few months ago listening to the song and it really hit me. It is a song of hardships and perseverance. I’m on a journey this year of releasing music that really moves me, speaks to me, and lets my voice shine through all of my emotions. I think I’ve finally found ME. This journey or literally finding my voice again has been an uphill battle, but like the song says, ‘I had a feeling that I belonged, and I had a feeling that I could be someone.’
If the message and her rendition of the song don’t make you cry, then you are lying.
Ryan has been working as an independent artist for quite some time now with no management or label. So putting out songs and funding everything, including music videos, performances, etc. is completely up to her.
A great way to support her would be to share her social media posts so more people can discover her and buy her songs, watch her music videos, stream her EP, The Reintroduction, or buy a piece from her lipstick line, Ciao Bianca.
We are so excited to hear what she releases next. 2020 is going to be a great year for Bianca Ryan! Be sure to stream “Fast Car” and share it with your music-loving friends.
