Between Dunkin’, Starbucks, Wawa, and many other places, it’s no wonder Philly ranked in the top 15 US cities for coffee. According to WalletHub.com, Philadelphia ranked number 11 in their article, “2019 Best Coffee Cities in America.”
According to CBS Philly, “The report compared 100 United States cities over 14 key factors relating to coffee. The research included details about coffee shops and houses, the average price per pack of coffee, households that own coffee makers, and number of doughnut shops.”
Philadelphia ranked number 3 in coffee cities for doughnut shops because doughnuts and coffee go hand in hand. Seattle, the home of Starbucks, came in number one, while Toledo was ranked last.
