It looks like Philly’s fashion district is getting a few new upgrades. A dine-in AMC movie theater just opened on the corner of 11th and Market St. on November 4th.
With state of the art, exhibition technology movie-goers will have a great experience. When you enter Fashion District 8, you will need to head up to the third level to see your favorite flick.
The new theater has eight auditoriums, ranging in size from 100 to 200 reclining seats. The two largest auditoriums have standard projection and Dolby sound. They even have sound transducers in the heated seats that give you rumbling bass during the appropriate moments.
Along with popcorn, pretzels and other classic movie concessions, there is a MacGuffins Bar, which offers beer, wine, and cocktails tailored to certain films. Attendees can enjoy pepperoni flatbread, cobb salad, milkshakes, churros and much more.
Every seat has a tray for movie watchers to enjoy their food and drinks and dine-in in comfort. The kicker? Food can be delivered to your seat before the movie starts. You don’t have to wait in line.
Dinner and a movie in one? Don’t mind if we do!
