Philly Brewery Releases ‘Tiger King’ Themed Beer

In the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak, people are spending a lot of time at home and looking for new ways to entertain themselves. Thankfully, there are streaming services like Netflix and Hulu to occupy our time, and sometimes leave us scratching our heads. Recently, the Netflix original documentary, ‘Tiger King’ has become a huge hit, reaching 34.3 million viewers within its first ten days on Netflix. People all over the world are talking about it and it seems that no matter where you go, what site you visit, someone is talking about Joe Exotic, Carol Baskin, or Tiger King. Due to the popularity the documentary, a Philly Brewery decided to take advantage of the hype and launch its very own Tiger King themed beer!
Evil Genius Beer Company, located at 1727 Front Street, is known for its cool atmosphere and its awesomely-unique beer names. To honor the legendary Tiger King doc, the company launched (and this is not made up) “Felt Cute, Might Feed My Husband to a Tiger Later IDK”, a special edition pale ale made with Bravo, Columbus, Cascade, Simcoe, and Apollo hops, with it’s ABV 4.2%.
Due to the Coronavirus, the beer is only available in Philly, and people can have it delivered to their home using Quick Sip or pick it up at the Evil Genius Brewery’s lab in Fishtown.
Next time you decide to watch Tiger King, don’t forget to kick back with a ice cold glass of Felt Cute to get you through the madness.
