Louis Knight Reflects on Summer Love in his Song, London

Louis Knight has just surprise released his new single, “London,” on January 8th.
The American Idol alum announced earlier that song was coming this month, but fans didn’t know when. He announced he had a big surprise for his fans and when they woke up “London” was on streaming services.
Knight is known for writing sad, break-ups songs and “London” is no exception. Just when you think his current release is your favorite, Knight drops another song and that becomes your favorite. He hits the mark every time.
The song talks about flying to London after a breakup to spend time with family because turning to the people who always have your back and your roots can be important during hard times.
“London” very much sounds like an Ed Sheeran tune and like a song you would blare while driving.
The bridge is very powerful and relatable for anyone who lives in the city. “I know you think about it sometimes. Late night, Philly drives.” That would be a perfect Instagram caption.
Of course, we all really want to go to London, or just get away sometimes, but due to the current pandemic we may just need to stay put for now. Please.
Knight is set to release “Maybe That” on Valentine’s Day, which is also the premiere date for American Idol. He has a big year ahead of him and we can’t wait to hear what he drops next.
Be sure to stream the song and follow Louis on social media to see what he releases next.
