Zach Ertz Helps Donate $30K of Sports Equipment to Young Athletes
The Eagles franchise is known for being generous and giving to many different organizations, causes, and individual people. This kind of dedication to different causes is what makes the Eagles such an amazing franchise, and what makes the fans even more proud to call the team theirs.
On Tuesday, tight end Zach Ertz continued to spread the Eagles generosity by surprising a group of young athletes in Chester with a big gift. Ertz, along with Dunkin’ Donuts, traveled to surprise the Chester Panthers Youth Empowerment and Athletic Association in Delaware County with over $30,000 worth of sports equipment. The bundle of new equipment included helmets and gloves, which will definitely come in handy for the young athletes.
This special donation is a part of Dunkin Donuts “Touchdown for Kids” program, which funds new sports equipment and apparel for youth sports originations in the Philadelphia area. For every Eagles touchdown, Dunkin donates $250 to Good Sports inc. Zach Ertz personally donates $250 for every touchdown he scores too!
So far in this season there have been 21 touchdowns by the Eagles, which means $5,250 donated to Good Sports Inc. A fun way to be involved in a great cause – way to go Ertz! The Eagles take on the Bears at the Linc this Sunday, November 3rd at 1pm on Fox. Go Birds!
