Visit Philadelphia’s Halloween Themed Pop Up Bar
The Philly bar scene is filled with some amazing spots to go and kick back with your friends. Coming this October, the creators of Tinsel and Blume, Crafts Concept Group, are bringing a Halloween themed pop up bar, Nightmare Before Tinsel, to Philly! Crafts Concept Group is known for its popular Christmas themed pop up bar, Tinsel. Tinsel has been in Philly for the past two Decembers. Given all of the popularity and love shown from tourists for Tinsel, the group was inspired to do something similar, but for Halloween! The bar will occupy a former jewelry store at 116 S. 12th Street in Midtown Village.
What can you expect from the Halloween pop up bar? Just about everything awesome about Halloween. The inside of the bar will feature fun decor like a haunted casket, a giant spider web alley, a zombie wall, a skull-themed bar, and a room of 1,001 eyes- eek! You can even wear a costume if you want (costumes are encouraged, but not required)!
In terms of drinks, you can expect ghoulish-themed cocktails, some inspired by Philadelphia’s rich history, like candy corn which was invented in Philly – who would have known! Along with cocktails, the bar will also serve fall beers and ales.
Feeling spooky yet? Can’t wait for Halloween season aka the whole month of October? You don’t want to miss out on Nightmare Before Tinsel, which opens at the beginning of October!
