The Dining Car Donates To Food Banks During COVID-19 Outbreak
What a crazy time we are living in right now. Because of the Coronavirus outbreak, many businesses, including restaurants have closed. The Dining Car, winner of best restaurant in Philly, is a Northeast Philadelphia staple. Although their bakery and carry out service is open, they still have food left over.
Owner Joe and Chef Larry decided to donate the rest of the food to the local food banks. Chef Larry is the founder of Feast of Justice, the largest food bank in Northeast Philadelphia. It is in desperate need of volunteers during this time.
The Dining Car is also using their food to help front line medical workers who still have to work during this difficult time.
We need more people like this to help those in need. Even though their business is struggling like everyone else’s they are still willing to give back.

Stay safe everyone. We are all in this together.
