Rita’s Water Ice Unveils New Eagles Flavor
E-A-G-L-E-S! EAGLES! Philadelphia’s favorite Italian ice company, or as we say water ice, Rita’s, has released a limited time Eagles-themed flavor. The new flavor hit stores on July 29th and fans are excited for it.
The new water ice is colored midnight green, like the Eagles uniforms, and is called “Go Birds!” The flavor is dubbed as apple-pear. It literally bleeds green.
It is only available in 150 stores, mostly in the Philadelphia, Wilmington,DE, and Trenton, NJ, areas and some stores in Reading.
Rita’s has also launched a new flavor for the summer called unicorn. It seems to be a hit among customers. You can get a gelati with special sprinkles on it. Flavor is unknown.
The Eagles kick off their pre-season August 8th against the Tennessee Titans. The regular season begins September 9th against Washington. The players have been enjoying Rita’s, who is a partner of the team, during training camp.
Come and get it before it goes away forever. We are unsure of how long it will be around for. Get cooled off, head over to your local Rtia’s, and support your favorite football team in the process.
