Philadelphia Native Bianca Ryan Announces “Say Something” Music Video
Bianca Ryan, the first ever winner of America’s Got Talent, is releasing the music video for her cover of “Say Something” this August. She teased the announcement on her Instagram stories.
Ryan appeared on the first season of AGT: The Champions this past January where she told the story of journey- why she stayed in Philadelphia, how she underwent vocal surgery, and started her own independent label.
On The Champions, Ryan delivered a powerful comeback performance with a cover of A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera’s, “Say Something.” Aguilera even gave Ryan a shout out on Twitter after her performance.
Her rendition of the song wasn’t necessarily giving up on love but more of her giving up on singing and the industry because of everything she went through.
Now, six months later, her cover has 400,000 streams on Spotify, 2 million views on YouTube, and debuted at number 51 on the pop charts. Now, an official music video is in the works. This comes after she released her EP, The Reintroduction: Part 1, earlier this year.
The video is going to feature a very special guest dancer. The last video of hers to feature a dancer was “Alice,” which starred Chloe Lukasiak and was a big hit. Could the Dance Moms dancer be making a return, or will it be a new face? We will have to wait until August to find out.
Most recently, Ryan released the music video for her latest single, “They Wanna Be Us Now,” which delivers an important message of anti-bullying. She’s also launched her own lipstick line, Ciao Bianca.
It is so important to support your local artists, so make sure you give her a follow.
